Black Friday traffic jam

Melissa had to drive to work on Friday. When she got off work she discovered she was trapped in San Francisco due to the tree lightning ceremony in Union Square. She decided to get a hotel room and called me to come on up. I hopped on the Cal Train and was there 2 hours later.

Crowds ..

So I took a long walk around looking for music stores. I passed through the Moscone Center/Yerba Buena gardens....

Next, I started heading back downtown and saw that the bay wasn't too far off so I wandered over to see the water...

I saw California street and went looking for the Guitar Center. I never found it, but did happen upon Chinatown....

From there, I saw that the hills just kept going up and up. Since I still had time to kill I decided to walk up as high as I could get. I ended up in the Nob Hill region....

After Melissa got off work we drove across the city to Coean Bacj and Richmond districts to see what the neighborhoods looked like. People told us it was cold over there, and they were right, but it does have a much slower pace...
