We stayed the night and left the next morning. We were determined to at least go swimming somewhere. I finally found a nice spot to pull onto the shoulder so we could take a dip and the river and wait for traffic to ease up....

A quick trip to Nevada?
We had to drive all the way to Nevada to pick up Jacob from his dad's house. We had very little money and very little time. It was really painful to drive through such beautiful scenery and not be able to stop every 5 minutes to take a picture. Here's a tiny sliver of Lake Tahoe...
