Winchester Mystery House
One weekend our family went to the Winchester Mystery House. There's no photography alowed inside so I had to make due with the garden and gift shop areas.
Sara Winchester had to keep building on to the house to escape the vengeful spirits of people who had met their demise running with Winchester scissors?...
Spooky at night....
They had a bunch of old-timey amusements...

Not many photos from Santa Cruz
We spent the night in Santa Cruz. We had a great day at the beach playing fetch with the dog. I didn't take too many photos. I went by the skatepark while Melissa was getting ready to go out for the night. I saw my friend Roger there. No shoes....

Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum
After our hike at Stevens Creek I went back to Melissa's work and met her for lunch. With time to spare before I had to pick her up from I wanted to go to a used bookstore and get the grocery shopping done. On the way to the bookstore I stopped at the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum and wandered the grounds to take a few photos.
Wait.... there's mountain lions here, too? STOP, DROP AND ROLL

Stevens Creek County Park
A week or two ago I dropped Melissa off at work so I could use the car. I went to Starving Musician for a while to mess around with the guitars. Then, I took the dog for a hike at Stevens Creek County Park. It was an overcast and chilly. Perfect weather for tromping around.
I studied this sign so I could be prepared in case of a mountain lion attack. I hope that if I do have an actual encounter I don't confuse this with Stop, Drop and Roll....
