I had a Friday off work so we went to Natural Bridges State Beach. The were a lot of No Dogs Allowed signs so the angry little dog had to stay hidden with Melissa on the beach while I took the boys out to the tide pools.

Almaden Quiksilver Park
Went on a hike at Almaden Quiksilver with the kid and the Angry Little Dog. We started at the entrance way up Hicks Road. We did encounter the fabled Killer Nazi Albinos.
We hiked to the Hidalgo Cemetery. There is only one visible grave. Jacob explained to me, "At night cemeteries become graveyards." Spooky!...
We also encountered some families out on a Geocache expedition. We did not have a GPS with us. We were able to find one with a clue from one of the kids. We stumbled upon another just looking in the most obvious potential hiding spots...
Watch out for Quicksand....
Jacob caught his first lizard of the year....
On the way home everyone was all tuckered out....

Skatin' with Jacob
We started off the day at the sketchy concrete slides....
and then went to the long mellow downhill parking lot...
We finished the day at the ditch...

Capitola
On another Sunday, Melissa and I spent the night in Capitola. We ate some food on the pier, I built a make shift lean-to, and we watched some dudes jam the blues ate a bar. Sweet times.
